I have camped most of my life beginning with Boy Scouts, then when I was 13 my dad and I built a pickup camper that had a pop up roof. Our maiden voyage in that rig was a 4 week trip that started and ended in Michigan via Yellowstone, Oregon, Washington and a return trip through Canada.

I have camped in everything from a tent, pickup camper, class C motor home, a number a 5th wheels and now finally in a class A motor home. Linda is my wife of 15 years and has been a avid camper all of time we have been together. We have two daughter, both graduated from college and a very bossy Jack Russell Terrier named Bud.

Linda is still working full time over the internet and I am pretty much retired working as a work camper this last winter in south Texas and then spending most of our summer in my mother's back yard. I consider this a work camping experience with a few added benefits. In return for doing most of the maintenance jobs around the house we get a place to stay and some really good meals.
